I thought it was really cute. I cried over it, tbh. I’m so glad that Derek is beginning to rebuild himself. This scene proves that it’s happening. He’s starting to step outside his “normal” attitude of being mean and unapproachable. It’s a healing process. He’s healing. This was amazing.

And, just a side note: Derek still looks mega-bangable while covered with blood. Just saying…Ms. Blake, get that.
